The Middle European Mathematical Olympiad<\/strong> (MEMO) is an international mathematics competition. Participation in the MEMO is by invitation only, with the following countries being invited to participate: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland. Each invited country is to send a team consisting of up to six contestants, a leader, and a deputy leader.<\/p>\n Country’s contestants are normally citizens or residents of that country, and should be selected through that country’s national Mathematical Olympiad or an equivalent selection programme.
