This exhibition explores the remains of the ancient Roman city of Celeia hidden beneath present-day Celje. The exhibition presents life in the Roman city nearly 2,000 years ago and explains why Celeia was one of the most important Roman cities in the territory of present-day Slovenia. Here you can see preserved Roman roads, the foundations of houses and villas, mosaics and frescoes, as well as everyday objects from Roman life.<\/p>\n
