Did you know that the history of mosaics goes back more than 5,000 years? The first mosaics were made around 3000 BC from coloured pieces of clay. Mosaics later became a true art form in ancient Greece and, later, in the Roman Empire. Over the centuries, the materials and techniques have changed, but the joy of creating mosaics has remained the same. In this workshop, you will create your own mosaic using 1 cm pieces of coloured ceramic. You will attach the pieces to a wooden base using special glue. You will choose your own colours and pattern and create a unique mosaic that reflects your personal style. <\/p>\n
