Our contestants stepped into the shoes of real miners at the Slovenian Coal Mining Museum in Velenje. Wearing mining jackets and helmets, they explored the fascinating world beneath the surface.
They walked through the mine tunnels, discovered how coal was extracted and learned about the difficult working conditions and everyday lives of miners. They also took a ride on an underground mine train and enjoyed a traditional miner’s lunch.
It was a unique experience and a memorable way to discover an important part of Slovenia’s industrial and mining heritage.
